Business Development Executive – (L&D) London - £30k-£35k (with OTE £55k-£60k)

 

Do you have 3 year’s experience selling e-learning / SaaS or L&D solutions? Then this role is for you!

The company:

An award-winning softskills e-learning company and industry leaders in video based training! Not only that, but they have a well-established history of comedy running through their training videos due to the VIP comedians who established the company and celebrities that work on their content!

Offering a supportive environment in which you will flourish, in a friendly office with great views of London from the windows of their 4th floor office. In this sales role you will be measured on results, we don’t micro-manage our teams, we believe that you’ll work better if we celebrate your success not your call numbers!

The role:

As Business Development Manager, you will be used to breaking down doors to speak to the right people and win new business opportunities. Thinking out of the box will help you to find different approaches of understanding client needs – but most importantly, in a consultative manner.

You will have the chance to contact warm leads as well as prospecting new leads and this role could easily turn into a 50/50 account management split, with one of the team recently moving to a role that is 100% account management!

You’ll need to listen to prospective clients, our Client would rather you close the sale in 3 months or next quarter rather than forcing the deal and ruining your relationship. Retentions are a big deal too, we want clients to renew their business with and you will be critical to making this happen.  

 

You:

You need to be able to show proven experience selling SaaS or e-learning in a B2B context for at least 3 years. Having strong examples of consultative or bespoke sales experience to draw from will put you in a strong position at interview stage.

You will be easy to work with and a real team player, you will be able to manage and motivate yourself, ask for help when you need it and be honest about your challenges.
