Do you love to shop?  Come bring that passion for retail to a start-up PaaS company that is helping to streamline the way web to store shopping works.

My client is an eCommerce Platform as a Service that creates solutions for retail shops.  By using mobile devices and keeping all information in one place, the central office can instantly communicate with high street shops and maintain a level of uniformity of brand between online experiences, and what goes on in brick and mortar. 

You’ll be onboarding new, SME retail brands within the German-speaking DACH area.  This area is going to be a fresh desk – as my client hasn’t developed a presence in this region yet.

What skills do I need? The right culture fit will be enthusiastic about sales, marketing, and the digital space.  You may have worked in retail yourself in the past, and know how to provide excellent customer service.  You’ll have a hunter mindset that isn’t afraid to ask for new business, but still use a consultative approach.

  • Fluent in business English & German
  • 3-5 Years of experience in new business sales for SaaS or non-tangible products
  • Preferably an existing base of connections in retail within the DACH region
  • Okay with the Start-Up mindset - able to help with tasks not in the job description
  • Confident communicator on the phone, in writing and face to face
  • Able to pitch to decision makers, and negotiate subscription contracts
  • Professional, but fun personality, with an attention for details
  • Comfortable with sales orders £10k to £30k, often playing the long game
