We are looking for our next round of Recruitment Superstars for an April 2017 start! Open Day to take place Mid February!

Do you have 12 months’ sales experience? Perhaps you are currently working in car sales, estate agency or telesales and are looking for a long-standing career in the recruitment industry. Or maybe you already have some recruitment experience but are looking to join a company with a solid trainee program. That company is us!

We’ve all had that cringeworthy call from a recruitment agent. To be honest, our line of work gets quite a bad rap but we are trying to change that, one placement at a time.

• SALES EXPERIENCE - Your background will have included Sales, Customer Service or you will be a Graduate looking for an exciting career.
• PASSION - Determination and common sense with a strong work ethic and great attitude.
• GOAL ORIENTATED - Genuine desire to increase personal income with a dash of entrepreneurial spirit.
• TALKATIVE - We love to talk! To candidates, to clients and to each other.
• PERSONABLE - Confident with strong communication skills both face-to-face and on the phone.


Who we are…

FGS is a boutique recruitment consultancy in Faversham. We started in 2008 and have developed into niche specialists within Digital Media, Business Information and Learning & Development.

The Training Academy started in 2016 and we are keen to provide ground up professional development during your first few months with us. We aren’t sharks – and our KPI’s are not your traditional numbers based metrics. We listen to candidates to find out their needs and find a company that will provide the best match. No forcing the wrong shape puzzle piece here. 

What a typical day will involve…

We have a daily routine, but no two days are going to be the same. Your morning will start with jumping on the phones to chat with candidates before work. You’ll learn to be a sourcing ninja, using job boards, LinkedIn, social media and referrals to find the right kind of candidates for your roles.

Lunch time is our favourite – not only because we all are foodies but because you’ll get to talk to all kinds of interesting candidates on their breaks.

After lunch you shift into new business mode. This will take you to cold calling companies in your niche, seeking out new clients to partner with and talking to CEOs, Sales Directors, SVPs and other decision makers. Before going home, you’ll get one more pass at catching candidates after work.

Base salary is £18k, with the expectation to generate around £35k with OTE your first year.
