Business Development Manager

My client is looking for their newest work-family member (and we don’t mean the black poodle who lives around the office)! If you enjoy an open colourful space, cereal wars, and the autonomy to build your desk how you like it, come join this super fun martech team selling SaaS/PaaS as a Business Development Manager.

 

You would be joining a start-up team that has rolled up their sleeves and grown the business internationally over the last few years. All work and no play makes Jane a dull girl though and my client believes that happy people make everything better - so expect to be handed a beer on Friday afternoon but beware of stray flying ping pong balls. They pack a punch as Sam’s aim gets progressively worse...

 

In between fun and lunch (as foodies, we know this is the most important part of the day) you’ll be growing new business faster than Sonic can collect rings. You will be a wizard with your knowledge of our marketing technology software and be able to win over client’s hearts and minds in person, in writing or by phone with your high charisma

 

You can talk the talk, but also back it up with walk - you’ve got a sweet track record;

  • 2-5 years smashing new business sales targets selling SaaS/PaaS 
  • More than happy to toot your own horn
  • Unafraid to speak up when something could be improved
  • Humble enough to take constructive critiques on-board 
  • Selling SaaS comes like second nature
  • Easily able to explain the merits of a non-tangible product to your clients
  • self-starter, and unafraid of selling and closing annual contracts to C-levels - whether it is a £5k contract or a £500k contract
  • Comfortable selling direct to brand and to marketing within the vertical.

 

Our client will help you along the way with monthly professional development, staff lunches, and other fun ways to continually grow your skills. You are the type of person who enjoys a field trip to a client’s office to build relationships and better understand their unique needs, because we all know that the best service is people-centric. You will work hard on your own, but also with the team - helping senior managers with client acquisition, helping account manager nurture and love long term clients, and helping marketing with the best up to date sales pitches. Base salary starts between £25-£45k, with the ability to double that with OTE, and additional perks. So what are you waiting for?
