£50K + OTE New Business Development Manager

My client is a fast growth tech company looking for highly talented New Business Development Managers to fuel their rapid growth!  They have a great product with a real need - providing digital audience insight and data through their market research platform to companies all around the world. 


About the client…

Having grown out of their start-up phase, my client has become one of the UK’s fastest-growing data tech companies, expanding massively in the last few years (hence why they need you!).  You’ll be selling their digital marketing platform to the likes of Apple, Twitter & the BBC. Data is collected from a mix of surveys and passive data collection in multiple countries and is sold as a Platform as a Subscription.  Once a client signs on with them, they almost always come back due to the speedy information, valuable insights and enthusiastic customer service, so you can enjoy selling a product that is easy to get behind.


The Role…

As a New Business Development Manager, you will aggressively smash monthly targets by driving direct new business sales and working with the client services team to grow existing accounts. While you are a solo hunter, the strength of the wolf is the pack.  You can expect to be given the tools you need to exceed expectations through quality professional development and social engagement. 

Once you settle in, you’d decide which vertical you want to specialize in – AdTech, Corporate, Publishers or Media Owners and get down to finding new business opportunities.  Your desk is your own to run as you’d like, through a combination of cold calls, warm leads, conducting online or face-to-face meetings, setting up client trials, closing deals and building relationships with your wins.

Like travel?  Be ready to close deals face to face around the world when the need arises, especially in the States.  If you can get past iced tea and streaky bacon, you might even have the chance to work long term in the USA!


Who are You?

  • An ambitious relationship builder
  • Experienced salesperson with a background in media, ad-tech, SaaS or agency industries
  • You get inside sales and bring a consultative approach to your style
  • 3-5 years of exceeding sales targets
  • Degree preferred
  • Not afraid to ask questions or bring new ideas to the table
