Business Development Manager
New Business Development Manager (L&D) £40k-£55k base salary
Are you an experienced BDM with at least 3 years’ experience of working within Learning and Development?
The role:
Based in the office 5 days a week, you will spend the first 3 months building your pipeline, as this is a 100% new business role, starting from scratch!
Your role once new business is attained, is to sell bespoke sales training solutions, by assessing the client need and drawing up a proposal regarding the suggested bespoke solution. You will then present the bespoke proposal to the client, who rarely say no to tailored and well thought out solutions!
This role comes with 10% commission and uncapped OTE, so the sky is the limit!
The company:
Have over 10 years’ experience of sales training solutions and are underpinned by Charles Jenning’s adult learning theory. Consultative sales approaches are the only ones they use and are inspired by thought leaders in the L&D and sales industry.
They have an innovative approach to sales training and are based in beautiful new offices in a listed building which are bright, spacious and open planned on the inside! These lovely new offices are based in trendy London and employees have compared this client to Google in their early days!
You will have:
- Proven experience of selling bespoke solutions
- Solid track-record of consultative sales cycles
- CV evidence of minimum 3 years in L&D sector
- Evidence of selling to Blue Chip organisations
- Experience selling non-tangible products
- Your most recent role as a BDM
- Excellent writing skills for writing proposals
- A love for learning!
